It’s a jungle out there.

Delivering moderate sedation in a modern private dental practice involves navigating a complex landscape of clinical, legal, and regulatory considerations. Presented by DOCS Education and Dr. Dave Roberts, this course will sharpen your understanding of the rules of the road — helping you and your patients travel that journey more safely and comfortably.

As a practitioner providing moderate sedation, you must navigate five interconnected worlds: the moral and ethical, the scientific, the medical, the regulatory, and the political. Together, these create a web of rules that can sometimes seem contradictory. The goal of this presentation is to simplify and clarify these considerations in order to deliver safe moderate sedation in the private practice setting.

Learning Objectives:

  • Review best practices to enhance the safety of office-based moderate sedation dentistry.
  • Identify strategies to protect patient access to safe and effective sedation.
  • Understand the medico-legal and regulatory frameworks governing the moderate dental sedation practice.
  • Learn to apply effective risk management and compliance principles to moderate sedation delivery.

This webinar is free to attend. We offer 1 CE for DOCS Members and Trial Members who attend the live presentation.

If you are not yet a Member but would like to earn the 1 CE for attending, as well as experience the many benefits of DOCS Membership, consider joining as a Trial Member for only $1.* There is no obligation or risk; cancel anytime.
