The Judicious Use of Fluoride as a Preventive and Therapeutic Approach for Dental Caries
In recent months, fluoride has been all over the news. Just in the last week, the FDA is poised to ban fluoride supplements for young children, and lawmakers want an independent review of EPA fluoridation guidance. Patients are understandably asking questions, and dentists are left wondering what to say, how to respond, and where the science truly stands.

Dr. Gordon will review the current status of dental caries in the U.S. population and the evolving understanding of fluoride’s role in caries prevention and management.
