As media and technology advance, saving history becomes even more vital.

In a world where everything is disposable and the “old ways” are disappearing, one expert has built a career on saving the past. Join DOCS Education and George Blood, a leading provider of archival audio and moving image preservation, for Preserving the Past and Recording a Legacy.

George Blood and his team have saved over 1.4 million audio recordings, moving images, and computer media from collections around the world. As dentists, we understand the importance of keeping records, so don’t miss this fascinating opportunity to discover just how much of our history is lost every decade and what can be done to preserve it.

Topics of Discussion:

  • Learn about the niche value of this work – similar to sedation dentistry – not many can do it!
  • We can’t save everything – how much history will we lose?
  • Never surrender! At the current rate, historic recordings (audio and video) from around the world will be saved, including events few remember.
  • Learn about the equipment needed and the space and manpower required to ensure a recorded legacy.

This webinar is free to attend. There is no CE offered with this presentation.
