About the Presenter(s):

Hazen Audel is a biologist, adventurer, survival instructor, and wilderness guide who has lived with tribal people all over the world, using their ancient techniques to hunt for food, make tools, build shelters, and survive the unforgiving landscape and lethal predators.

He is currently the host of Primal Survivor, an international hit airing in 44 languages, as well as other adventure series found on Disney +, Hulu, Amazon Prime, YouTube, and the National Geographic channel.

A Kootenai and Salish Native American by descent, Hazen was born and raised in Spokane, Washington, where he still lives much of the year when not filming. Hazen holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Western Washington University. He has studied Botany and Zoology at Eastern Washington University and Northwest Indian College and has done advanced studies in Tropical Ecology at the University of Hawaii. Hazen speaks four languages, including English, Spanish, Bahasa, and Quichua.
